Tea Leaves...but memories linger

Here's a pot I made a couple of years back. I gave this one to my mother as gift. She doesn't drink tea, but hey, that's hardly the point. I quite like it but the technique of scraping away the glaze is laborious.

Mille Fiori Design

Just picked up the finished teapot from Paint the Earth.
Quite happy with it, though next time I would be inclined to to consider the design a little longer.
It's interesting to see how the colours change in the firing process. I suppose that is one of the things I like about ceramic painting. You can only imagine what you will find when the heat goes on.

Catherine's little pot

I made this pot for Catherine, a friend in Auckland who is a lawyer, but also a B. Fine Art.

It was the second scratch technique pot I made.

I rather like it. Though the draughtmanship is a little tenuous.

Tea for one #3

Unfired teadpot. Compare and contrast next week.
